Dr. Chantelle Thomas

Executive Clinical Director

Dr. Chantelle Thomas is Windrose Recovery’s Executive Clinical Director and a Clinical Psychologist specializing in addiction treatment, trauma, and health psychology. With her experience in trauma work, Dr. Thomas guides the clinical team in the comprehensive assessment and treatment of each guest. Dr. Thomas is also a certified biofeedback practitioner, providing clients with an added dimension of insight and discovery helping them better regulate and understand the psychological impact of stress and chronic trauma. Dr. Thomas began her career as the Program Director for a dual-diagnosis addiction and trauma treatment center in Malibu, California. After receiving her PhD in Clinical Psychology, she completed her internship and post-doctoral fellowship in Health and Rehabilitation Psychology at the University of Wisconsin School of Medicine and Mental Health. While there, she gained specialized expertise in medical-surgical consultation, trauma- informed therapy and chronic pain treatment. Through the University of Wisconsin’s School of Family Medicine, Dr. Thomas then joined Access Community Health Center as a Behavioral Health Consultant to primary care physicians where she innovated the development of a substance use disorder consultation clinic embedded within primary care. Her background in research-supported treatment modalities directly informs her ability to ensure the most effective interventions are incorporated into Windrose Recovery’s holistic programs.

Dr. Todd Kammerzelt is an addiction psychiatrist and serves as a Clinical Assistant Professor at the University of Wisconsin School of Medicine and Public Health.

Medical Director

Dr. Todd Kammerzelt is an addiction psychiatrist certified by the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology (ABPN). Most recently, he was the Medical Director of Connections Counseling in Madison, Wisconsin. He previously held the roles of Staff Psychiatrist at the Madison VA and Unit Chief for an adult co-occurring disorder program at the Brattleboro Retreat in Vermont. Dr. Kammerzelt received his medical degree at the University of Wisconsin Madison School of Medicine and Public Health, including the Addiction Psychiatry Fellowship at the UW School of Medicine. He also accomplished his premedical degree at Columbia University and undergraduate degree at Tulane University. At Windrose Recovery, Dr. Kammerzelt treats each client individually by utilizing his expertise in mental health and substance use disorders with compassion and dedication.

As the Director of Admissions, Debra is a compassionate guide for individuals and families seeking treatment for addiction and co-occurring disorders. She brings deep experience working across treatment settings and care networks, helping people navigate the admissions process with clarity, warmth, and trust. Before joining The Manor, Debra worked with recovery and behavioral health organizations including The Lighthouse (recovery services/sober living), Mountainside Treatment Center (residential facility), and the New York Center for Living (outpatient program supporting adolescents and young adults). Debra has also held roles as a recovery coach, case manager, and outreach. Throughout her career, she has been a fierce advocate for thoughtful, personalized care — building strong relationships with clients, families, and referring professionals to support meaningful healing and wellness. Debra also draws on a strong business and leadership background from her previous global director roles in public relations and advertising, where she partnered with clients in the healthcare and hospital sectors. Her combined admissions insight and strategic experience allow her to approach every interaction with professionalism, empathy, and a genuine commitment to helping people take the next step forward.

With more than a decade of experience in the healthcare field, Stephanie brings a passion for connecting individuals with the treatment they need to help them on their path to recovery. At Windrose Recovery, she serves as a resource not only for individuals seeking treatment, but also for treatment providers and professionals, developing and maintaining relationships with care providers throughout the Midwest and across the country. Prior to joining Windrose Recovery’s outreach team, Stephanie was the Director of Marketing for a medical rehabilitation center, working closely with hospital social workers, case managers, physicians and community partners.

Aber Hollander is the President and Chief Executive Officer of Windrose Recovery, a position he has held since founding The Manor in 2015. Aber’s experience in healthcare operations, management and business development was instrumental in establishing The Manor and expanding Windrose Recovery into a full continuum of care. Aber previously served as the VP of Business Development for a healthcare management company, spearheading multiple strategic programs and initiatives. He was also the administrator of a premier rehabilitation and extended care facility in Chicago’s North Shore where he led a team of physicians, clinicians and medical professionals. Throughout his career in healthcare, Aber has always placed a strong focus on innovation in the pursuit of the highest quality treatment delivered with dignity and respect.
